One day my friends Luke, Logan and Kristopher and I decided to go for a trip. It was a planned journey. We wanted to visit our friend Billy. He had a birthday party, some famous rock band was supposed to be there and we were invited too. Our friend Billy lived in another city and we had to have two wonderful and interesting days trip in a car. Besides, it was a wonderful possibility to have a rest from our families, noisy children and wives. We were amazed with our leaving from daily routine that we forgot about a present for Billy. He was a very rich man and he had everything and if he hadn’t something he could easily get it, but in spite of everything we should have bought something. And we came across with a serious problem of choosing a present for Billy. We had an option to present him an expensive bottle of whisky, but then we remembered that because of serious problems with his health Billy stopped drink alcohol couple months ago. But then we came across a small and cosy art gallery in a neighboring town we were passing by and we decided to come around hoping to find something interesting for Billy. Logan and Luke were far from art and they decided to wait for us in the car, other words they just shifted the responsibility of choosing the present for our dear friend to our shoulders. True to say, I don’t understand today’s art, especially abstract art. It is over my head. I prefer more classic styles like Boticelli, Van Gogh, and Edgar Degas and so on. Among uncountable number of unclear paintings we have found rather nice picture of a young and modern artist, unfortunately I don’t remember his name otherwise I would recommended him to you. It could perfectly decorate Billy’s house, the worthful picture for the worthful man. The painting coasted 200$, but we decided to play a little joke on our friends and we said to guys that it price was 3000$. It was so funny to watch their reaction. First, it was a surprise on their faces then it changed to anger for buying so expensive gift then a question showed on their faces "Where do we get such money?" We mocked at them more than fifteen minutes, but then we finally decided to have compassion and told the truth. In a day we successfully reached the point of our destination, congratulated Billy, handled him our present, by the way, he was amazed with the painting, he considered painting’s price was about $ 3000, watched the rock show and next day went home to our families, noisy children and wives. So that was the travel.
